| HELP NEEDED |
| Help needed for rescued sanctuary special needs and senior dogs (dogs that have not been adopted). We have a small kennel to house a few of our dogs. Our facility is set up like a doggie daycare with outside play areas. We are currently looking for Kennel Help and Grooming Help - position will require a minimum of 2 hrs a day, a few days per week. However, if you have more time to spend that would be wonderful. |
We are looking for a mature, dependable and dedicated person(s), little LIVES depend on it !! If you feel like you won't be able to follow a flexible schedule, please don't offer to help- because these little furbabies will fully count on you to fulfill the commitment you made to help care for their needs, allowing them to have a happy and healthy LIFE! This is something you have to do because you love animals and you want to make a difference in the lives of the neglected and abused. It is a very rewarding and fulfilling act of kindness ;-) And again, it has to come from the heart. Remember these are sanctuary senior and behavior issues dogs (some are from mills and have fear when socializing with people)- you will be building a relationship with these dogs. These dogs have been in foster sanctuary care for years at this point- |
What type of work will you be doing?
Kennel help is..... Cleaning POOP!! Housekeeping type work; sweeping, moping,
cleaning bowls and giving fresh water and food. And, did we say.....cleaning up
poop. DOGS ARE PAPER TRAINED - cleaning poop is rolling up paper - it is more
like taking care of dogs being boarded.
Grooming help is..... shave downs, clipping nails and baths.
We have a few dogs on eye meds that require daily eye drops- However, as dogs
age vet may put on senior medications to be administered.
